2018 Alive! Schedule

Important Reminders:
  • Complete attendance throughout the entire orientation program is required for students in order to register for classes. Please do not make any plans or appointments during the 2 required days of session, including meal times. Failure to attend all workshops and session activities will prohibit students from completing class registration. Attendance is not mandatory for parents or guests of students, but is encouraged.
  • To give students an opportunity to meet new people and start engaging in their own academic experience, parents and students will have different schedules and tracks. There will be multiple touch-points where students and parents can connect; however, students will be in separate small groups led by an upper-classman, called an Orientation Counselor (OC).  Parents will be with other parents and also led by orientation staff dedicated to helping parents.
  • Students and parents will not be staying together in the residence halls as students will be randomly assigned another student roommate.  Students are required to stay in the residence halls during the program.  Please plan and pack accordingly.
