Cost to Attend

Student Matriculation Fee: $230.00. All new students will be assessed a one-time Matriculation Fee in their first semester of enrollment, in addition to tuition and mandatory fees. The Matriculation Fee covers services and programs for new students including orientation/registration programs (Transfer Registration Days, Alive!, Spring Alive!), Fall - Week of Welcome activities, extended orientation events and university publications that students receive during orientation that will be used while attending Washington State University.  

Parents and/or guests planning to attend Alive! Summer Orientation with their student will pay a program fee of $195.00 per parent/guest. This fee covers meals, overnight accommodations in a residence hall on campus, parking permit, university publications received during the program, orientation notebook, workshop presentations, staffing, and other program costs. 

If you would like to upgrade your room to a single occupancy room, you can indicate the choice on your reservation form.  New Student Programs will assess an additional $20 for the upgraded room choice.

If you would like to opt-out of overnight accommodations, you will receive a $55 discount.

Siblings (ages 13-17)        $140
Siblings (ages 6-12)          $70

Siblings (ages 0-5)            No charge

*Housing accommodations ARE NOT offered for those participating in Fall Alive! program.  Students living in the residence halls will move into their assigned residence hall for the academic year and students living off-campus will need to make arrangements to do so beginning on Monday, August 14.
