New Student Orientation
Welcome to
WSU

Due to current health regulations, all Alive Orientation sessions will be held virtually

WSU system-wide will require proof of the COVID 19 vaccination for the 2021–2022 academic year for all students engaging in activities at a WSU campus or location. For more information, including exemptions, please visit Washington State University (wsu.edu).

Welcome to WSU Pullman!

We’re excited to welcome you into the Cougar family at Alive Orientation.  Our virtual orientation is an interactive experience that will leave you feeling confident about how to navigate your first year at WSU.

During your session, you’ll take part in learning modules, college and department presentations, and meet one-on-one with an academic advisor to register for fall 2021 classes. In addition, you, along with a small group of other new Cougs, will be guided through the program by an orientation counselor (OC) who is a current WSU student. Within this group, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, make new friends, and fully immerse yourself in Coug life.

Coming to orientation was very reassuring. It showed me I wouldn’t be in this all on my own. Connecting with my orientation group made me feel like I already had some friends coming in.
