Welcome, New Coug!

We are excited you have chosen to register for New Coug Orientation. During orientation, you will discover the university’s mission, goals, values, and academic expectations; discuss academic policies, procedures, and programs; review costs, in terms of both dollars and personal commitment; and learn about valuable resources and campus-support services. You will leave the program registered for classes and ready to start your adventure as a Coug.

Have You Confirmed Your Enrollment?

Before you register for orientation, confirm your enrollment for in your FutureCoug Portal https://futurecoug.wsu.edu/portal/status. Please allow up to 24 hours for your account to update after confirming your enrollment to register for orientation. If you have any questions about your admission status, please call 1-888-GO-TO-WSU (1-888-468-6978).

Summer 2024 registration is now open. New Coug Orientation is a required program for all new students. La Bienvenida, Hawai‘i, Summer and Fall 2024 New Coug Orientation sessions are intended for students admitted to WSU for the Fall 2024 term.

NOTE:

  • *Space is limited for Fall Orientation. International students and out of state students from more than 400 miles away from Pullman will have priority in registering for this session. Please be prepared to move in to your residence hall or apartment before Fall Orientation begins. Unlike Summer Orientation, no supplemental housing will be available for Fall Orientation.
  • **Registration for Week of Welcome Orientation is only open to transfer and international students. Students registered for this session must complete academic advising and register for classes before arriving for move in and orientation. Details to complete advising and registration virtually will be emailed to you after registering for this session. Advising and course registration guidance will not be available on-site during this session.
  • We want to support you. If you require physical, housing, dining, or any other accommodations, please make sure to register at least two weeks before the start of the session.
